| Previous Visitors' Comments | This cottage provided a good base for travelling around Northumberland.

Sep 2007 | The cottage is in a perfect location for walking and driving in Northumberland and even as far as the Scottish borders. It is more spacious and comfortable than most holiday cottages which makes it a relaxing and pleasant base to spend time between outings.
The beautiful garden and conservatory were very much appreciated for those days when one wanted to spend a couple of hours resting between walks. The kitchen is large and very well equipped and provided with all those "extras" like washing powder, dishwasher tablets that can be a nuisance to buy when on holiday.
A pub serving excellent food - The Bay Horse - is literally less than two minutes walk from the cottage and the small post office/shop almost next door.
