Central to all rural North Northumberland and within easy driving distance of the nearby glorious sandy beaches between Seahouses (where boat rides can be booked for the spectacular Farne Islands) and Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick, Holy Island and the Scottish Borders, there is plenty to see and do. The Property: Signalman's Apartment A cosy first floor apartment with private entrance hall, overlooking the platform at Chathill station to the front ( a small rural substation on the East Coast Main Line) and a working farm at the rear, just 3 miles from the charming fishing village of Beadnell. The station below is beautifully decorated, with an abundance of flowerpots, shrubs and memorabilia, and train enthusiasts will enjoy the trains passing by at intervals on the track below. Surrounded by glorious countryside, with the Heritage Coast, fishing village of Beadnell and impressive Alnwick Castle and Garden all a short distance away, the apartment is ideally situated for exploring the region by car, cycle and on foot.
